From relaxing countryside to urban buzz, the Thames reflects the capital's astonishing diversity.
By the North Bank is situated the world’s top financial centre – the City of London, whereas the South Bank distinguishes itself by its modern architectural buildings including the Town Hall as well as attractions such as the Tate Modern or the London Eye. Walking further South East of the river, you will reach the famous area Greenwich area.
Relax in a Park
Nowhere else than London can you find so much green space and wildlife in between tall buildings and busy streets. Come and discover London’s magical landscape! Each of the following parks has its own characteristics:
• Green Park: separating Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly, Green Park is the favorite lunchtime gathering point for workers from the nearby posh Mayfair area.

• Regents’ Park: biggest concentration of plants and wild life in London, famous for its Zoo. By walking further up north, you can reach Parliament Hill from where you can have fantastic views on London.

• Hyde Park: the most famous park in London, it offers possibilities for sporting activities and possesses cycling and skating areas, as well as a river in the middle. For those interested in freedom of expression, there is the famous Speakers’ Corner, where you can hear people talk about all sort of issues.
