Transport in and around London
London’s transport system can be overcrowded and sometimes unreliable, however it is the best way to go from one point to another in this big city. The tube is the fastest way if to travel a long distance; however if you want to combine sightseeing and travelling, the famous double-decker bus is the best option and is of course cheaper!
bestlondonhostels TOP TIP: you can save money on transport by purchasing an Oyster card on which you can either add a Travelcard or Bus Pass or you can top it up with money and travel single journeys with a guaranty that journeys on Oyster cards will always cost you less than if you buy paper tickets.
